oh friend crushes are soo dangerous.. the temptation can be so irresistable. My best friend and I had major crushes on each other all through high school but we always had our own partners. We were finally both single at the same time. Then we kissed and we were completely grossed out. We're still best friends and we flirt like crazy but we both know that we'd never attempt a serious effort.

I'm pretty sure we're way into each other, but it's... delicate? we're both very much enjoying being single, and there is an age gap. I also dont feel... like he would ever want me for his girlfriend. friend and lover is one thing... but serious commited relationship? why would he want me?
so... sit and enjoy the ride for now. if it wasn't for the fear of having him snatched out of my paws i'd be very happy with this arrangement for a very long time -

i'm just... .so used to guys being dicks sometimes. and i know there's someone out there "better" then me. I, intellectually, know he would never ditch me without warning, but there's still this jump in my stomach whenever he says he's hanging with a new girl.
shrugs... i've also been told that never really goes away in poly relationships, sometimes.
